The Environmental Practice Group is comprised of NJ tax lawyers having multi-disciplinary backgrounds as well as lawyers recognized as leaders in the environmental law field.
On provincial, national and international environmental matters affecting private and public sector clients around the world, the EPG works in close partnership with clients, their consultants and lawyers in other practice disciplines of the firm to ensure that solutions and advice not only make legal sense but also practical business sense. Our scope of services is divided into three broad subject matters:

- environmental litigation, defence and judicial review

|International: With offices on four continents and representing clients worldwide, our environmental lawyers are able to bring a global perspective to national and international issues. We provide clients with assistance on due diligence and environmental approvals for international development. We advise governments on developing and revising natural resources legislation. We work on projects for international financial institutions and assist international corporations on environmental aspects of project construction and operation.|
|We monitor legal environmental and occupational health and safety developments throughout Canada. Our members chair and lecture at numerous environment and occupational health and safety-related seminars and conferences for Insight Educational Services, the Canadian Institute, the Legal Education Society of Alberta, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, mining, oil and gas, construction and electrical conferences, government agency and client seminars. Our lawyers also publish and write extensively in the field and participate in stakeholder meetings with regulatory authorities on reform of environmental laws.|
